3 Ponies

AVRIL’S FRIENDS’ PONY x 3

This is actually the same little pony painted three times.

Raphael plays Jazz

I am increasingly finding that my niche is in portrait painting. I have always enjoyed sketching and making portraits of my acquaintances.

This was an absolutely awesome jazz musician who came into the AMGallery in Milton Mall at my request to play jazz  on the keyboard at the beginning of March.

Towers

I wrote this awhile ago but considering we have 2 large churches in town that need millions of $$$$ to fix up, I think it is apt.

Great Edifices tower upward and outward

While spirits of the forgotten living

Are crushed into the earth’s crust.

Men build monuments to trap memories

And tame traditions

Inside inevitably crumbling walls.

Unencompassed

Are the needs of hungry souls

While eternal Truth slips away unnoticed.
